Update update!!

SOO MUCh has happened! Kiera is NOW eating FOOD! well smashed up greens. she is a great eater and even if she doesn't seem to like it and puts a weird face at every bite she will swallow and finish the whole bowl without complaint! Hope this trait continues! I took her to Utah LAST week and we had a blast! She went Swimming for the Very FIRST time at SEVEN peaks. Not sure if she was overwhelmed by the people or the water. Either way, she looked super cute or in her grandpa Chen's words " Sexy girl." One of my favorite things being in Utah was seeing her uncle Cody and auntie Jody play with her. She seemed to remember Sisi too! Since we were SUPER LUCKY to have her over for 10 days in LA about two weeks ago. They hold her in the cutest way and she seems to adore all of her uncles and aunties. She and I enjoyed the canyons, oh how I miss the mountains. It was soo fun seeing my family but after a week I was ready to be back to my spoiled weather and husband. It's been the LONGEST that we have ever been apart ever! So I missed him dearly!

The things we do for people we love.. :D

Kiera is so curious about everything and loves toys. We haven't gone out to get her a ton of toys yet, cause I'm secretly trying to delay and minimize baby stuff as long as possible...However the day is coming very soon, since I can no longer entertain her with all the little gadgets we have. Jonathan has even given up his old key board for her. So tonight I decided to make my own baby toy! Starting from the very basic. Rice filled sack! Hope it will entertain her for more than a minute ;P

Here is the link I got the step by step instruction from http://www.make-your-own-baby-stuff.com/support-files/printabel-baby-blocks-pattern-pdf.pdf.

Pretty cute?

Seriously fun!

I seriously have fun all day if Kiera is having a good day and taking all her naps as perfectly scheduled :D. I have been working on tons of stuff. The project I'm going to tell you about is by far one of my favorite projects! So Katie, my sister in law, got Kiera a set of clips and I FELL in love with them so I decided I wanted to MAKE MORE and that I DID! I got a bunch of alligator clips for super cheap on AMAZON and found a bunch of cute deco packets at JoANNS and mixed and matched and here was the end result after ALOT of GLUING ! I also made a few head bands. Wish they suited me! I think they look cute on Kiera!

April/ May

So much has happened this past month! First off, we got to go to UTAH for Sisi’s Graduation. We stayed at Robert and Emily’s house ( A BIG THANKS to them) and got to walk around BYU campus with Kiera. It was so neat roaming around BYU with our baby. It made it extra special. It was surprising how many people I knew and ran into! However I know, in a few years all of the people i know will be gone and BYU won’t be nearly as exciting. Seeing Sisi Graduate was quite exciting. I was so happy for her. It made me think about all the fun experiences we had together at BYU. I’m just glad that we were able to be roommates and share the BYU experience together. Not many sisters get to do that. The trip was also extra special because we got to spend time with Casey. What a fun brother! We even surprised him with a camera attack at Panda Express. My favorite comment from Casey on this trip was after Kiera peed on his pants. He said looking at me with disgust and handing kiera back to me,“ I am not having any babies, I am going to adopt them all at age five!”
After Utah I did load after load of laundry! By the time I was done it was time to pack for D.C and ohio. The whole Chen family met up in D.C and we saw Madeleine ( Sunny’s little girl) for the first time. She is so cute and has tons of hair. We took lots of opportunities to take pictures of the kids. In D.C we got one day to tour and Laura was nice enough to take us around! She did fabulous! She showed us so many sites that we couldn’t get to in one day without her driving us around. I was amazed at how green D.C was. I love the brick houses that surround the neighborhood. On Saturday we also met up with Tammy and her husband Hugh! What a cute couple! It was so fun to see Tammy again and find out that she is still so wonderful and bright. It’s been too long since I got to see her. Kiera seemed to enjoy the trip and was very well behaved. After two full days in D.C we went to Ohio. In Ohio I was lucky again to see Alice and her new baby. Every time I see her I am just baffled that we were in primary once dreaming and wondering what we will become. Now, we have become and I think it’s better than what we once dreamed we would be! Who knew we would be both mothers at age 23. I for sure didn’t. But I love that I am! In Ohio we also got to experience a one in the life time opportunity with an amish family. We got to eat dinner with them! I just admired their big family and how hard working each child, wife and father was. It was interesting to learn more about their faith. The sacrifice they choose to take on in order to practice humility is quite an admirable practice. It made me wonder how I can further be humble and submissive. It made me remember and appreciate the source of everything I have. What a month indeed! PS. I updated my other blog! http://momentcaptured.blogspot.com/ Can you see the Buggy in the background? Yep they took us on a ride!

There is no sweeter sound than hearing the man you love laugh along with the daughter you cherish.
